Goodbye

Dear friend

After putting you first, I'm drawing a line
I watered your garden only to drown
dehydrated, a sunflower without the sun.
I'm there when you need me
but that's the only time you're around.
I know you care, you just don't know how
so now I write this letter
to say I'll only meet you half way
or its goodbye.
